At the Residence La Turra***, we know what the words conviviality, space and comfort mean. You can be sure of finding no fewer than 80 apartments which are as spacious as they are comfortable, spread over 7 floors (with a lift for your convenience). They offer an area of 32 to 43 m², which is plenty to make you feel comfortable in your Charentaise slippers and give in to the mountain way of life! They all include the following: 

• A living room with pull-out sofa bed for 2 people, allowing you to recharge your batteries after a busy day;
• An equipped kitchen area which opens into the living room, with: electric plates, fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and kettle;
• A TV;
• A bathroom with a bath and toilet;
• Some lucky guests will also get to enjoy a balcony with a view of the mountains (in 77 of our apartments).

For holidays focused on relaxation, our La Turra*** accommodation in Valfrejus has all the necessary facilities to satisfy you, whether in summer or in winter:

• Relax in the outdoor heated swimming pool with a panoramic view of the mountains;
• Warm up with the freely accessible sauna;

You can make your colleagues and friends jealous when you take advantage of the Internet connection available in the reception and in the lodgings. Take your time - you are on holiday, and above all, it’s free!

You can travel light - we will lend you a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board! A ski locker is also available for you - it allows you to return to your apartment without cluttering it with your ski gear.

Holidays in the Savoie region don’t come without generous and friendly traditional dishes: we will lend you free raclette and fondue machines that will allow you to enjoy a pleasant meal just like you were at home. The ambience is only improved by the board games also available for hire. And, since ski holidays are even better with the family, you can also hire a cot and baby chair!

A free outdoor parking space allows you to park your car as soon as you arrive. And, if you want, you can rent a place in our indoor parking area, for a week or for a day!

Perched at an altitude of 1,550 metres, above the Modane, Valfrejus is a charming resort dotted with old stone and wooden houses, and is a seductive place in any season. And what are the reasons for this? A dream location, bordered by preserved natural areas.
 
The Haute Maurienne Vanoise will amaze you with remarkable landscapes, which include high-altitude lakes and even waterfalls. Did you know that its impressive glaciers represent the largest ice cap in Europe - 93 km²?

Do you love nature? That’s great! This town of the Savoie region knows how to use its charms, with an unparalleled richness of flora and fauna. For example, you can take a walk in the Vanoise National Park (size 146,500 ha). Here you will come across: deer, roe deer, chamois, ibex, marmots, foxes... and more than 125 species of birds and 1,700 species of plants! Your children will be happy!

Feeling like taking a little detour in Italy? You need hesitate no longer, since the border is only 30 km away, via the Mont Cenis pass. You will get to enjoy pasta and pizza, especially if you are fed up with cheese!

Whether it’s winter or even summer, it’s impossible to be bored in this young and dynamic ski resort.

Valfrejus in figures for winter sports amateurs: 

• The highest peak is at 2,737 metres;
• 23 slopes; 3 green slopes, 11 blue ones, 6 red ones and 3 black ones;
• 70 km of slopes;
• An off-piste area;
• 9 ski lifts;
• 1 speed riding area;
• 2 Bob Park toboggan runs;
• 1 boardercross.

Do you still have some energy to get rid of? Valfrejus is connected to 5 resorts by a free shuttle, offering you more than 300 km of slopes! The city itself belongs to the ski area of the Espace Haute Maurienne Vanoise (formerly ESKI-MO), with La Norma, Aussois, Val Cenis, Bessans, Bonneval sur Arc, all of which you can access during your stay.

For in the mountains, there’s not just skiing available; the Valfrejus resort is also full of activities during the summer! The Thabor and Sarrasins massifs offer many hiking trails through the mountain pastures. Do you want a more original mode of transport? You can climb the mountain and cross the forest on horseback! 

Cycling enthusiasts will find many cycling routes (on electric bikes) between Modane and Frejus (with 14 sharp bends).

Thrill seekers will take to the Charmaix zip line, or venture on the via ferrata of the Grand Vallon.

And no, let’s not forget the children! Head to Kid Park on the Arrondaz plateau. Entertainment, the swimming pool in Modane... everything is there to ensure an exciting and fun holiday!
