Its picturesque seaside villages will delight both your eyes and your taste buds. Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, Calvi: so many towns just a stone's throw from the sea that you absolutely must visit from your holiday accommodation in Corsica.
Best times to visit the island (and enjoy the sea)
If you want to make the most of the sea in Corsica, the summer months are the best option. From June to September you can soak up the sun, swim in the beautiful turquoise waters and enjoy pleasant, or even hot, temperatures. July and August are the most popular months, so we recommend you come in June or September if you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more peaceful dip in the sea. In September, the shops are still open, the water is fantastic, and many of the tourists are no longer around, as the school holidays have been and gone!
