In total, the residence consists of 39 duplex or triplex apartments that can accommodate up to 8 people. Each one offers you an exceptional panorama on the mountain and wonderful opportunities to admire the surrounding flora and fauna. Pets are welcome (with a supplement). An outdoor parking space is at your disposal. Finally, a Wi-Fi connection allows you to keep in touch with your loved ones. We do not have any PRM (persons with reduced mobility) accommodation at the moment.

A free playground is within walking distance for sports enthusiasts. Do your kids want to take a dip? Located 100 m from your apartment in Valberg, the municipal swimming pool is free for our guests! It welcomes you in July and August.

Fly with your own wings in a surprising massif near your Valberg accommodation

Located between Peone and Guillaumes, Valberg was a summer place for herds. The heart of the village therefore brings together typical chalets and mountain farms. And yet, the sea is not so far, only fifty kilometers away. This makes this resort, the gateway to the Mercantour Park, a privileged place to discover unusual landscapes, influenced both by the mountains and by the Mediterranean climate. 

Among the recommended getaways is the one that leads to Beuil lake. Walkers, who will appreciate the walk much more than the performance, will be perfectly at ease with this modest elevation. The view of the lake, surrounded by larches, offers them a nice reward. Along the path, you will no doubt have the chance to come across a black grouse, nicknamed the birch cockerel or heather cockerel. Valberg is committed to the protection of this emblematic species which coexists with an impressive crowd: great tit, shrike, red chaffinch, Eurasian jay and vultures.

6 kilometers from Valberg, altitude fans will be delighted with the summit of Mont Mounier, which rises to 2,817 meters. The panorama makes the eye run over part of the Mercantour mountain range. 

While Mont Mounier means "black mountain" echoing its dark rock, here is another colorful getaway from your apartment in Valberg! It directly echoes the name of your Les Gorges Rouges** residence. Take the direction of the Gorges du Cians and discover, amazed, this new geological wonder: the rocks of red pelites form steep canyons, dug and bathed by the turquoise waters of the Cians torrent. 

Another excursion promises to be just as vertiginous: the Daluis Gorges are carved out by the coastal river Var in the same red rock. Some blocks are 250 million years old.

Labeled "Family Plus" and committed to the development of sustainable tourism, Valberg claims its origins loud and clear. In 1936, when it opened, it welcomed the first “ski lift” or “toboggan” in the Alpes-Maritimes! 

Today, the small resort has become large, with a ski area of 56 tracks and a wide range of Nordic activities: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, fat bike on snow, snowpark with giant mattress for freestyle fans. And if you're worried about having too much sun and not enough snow, quickly dismiss this idea: Valberg has 400 snow cannons!
