Callian’s best kept secret?
Callian marks the starting point for many nature trails. And there’s one in particular that’s worth the detour, but remains unknown to most visitors. Wander like the locals and discover the bridge of Callian, well-hidden between two mountains. Joining Callian and Saint-Cezaire, it promises breathtaking scenery.

Pays de Fayence: 9 hilltop villages to visit during your holiday
Of the nine perched villages that have fun hiding away, Mons sits enthroned as the highest of them all, even offering a breathtaking view of the coast of Corsica from its summit. When you reach the top, you'll be enchanted by the discovery of ancient stone houses, some of which date back to the 10th century, thus explaining the district's evocative name, Château-Vieux.
Explore the authentic charm of the south of France with a visit to the village of Tourrettes, a veritable open-air artistic gem. This village is notable for its collection of works of art scattered around the narrow streets, facades, portraits, shadow plays and mosaics. No fewer than 70 artists have left their mark in this picturesque hamlet.
A few kilometres away, get your sunglasses ready to discover the mimosa trees in the village of Tanneron, adorned with millions of bewitchingly fragrant little yellow balls. Then set off to discover Callian, with its spiral streets, before reaching the promontory of Fayence to admire the landscape, the Clock Tower and the Four de Mitan.
You can also explore Bagnols-en-Forêt, which offers pleasant walks with magnificent views and charming restaurant terraces. Montauroux, nestling in a green setting, offers superb panoramic views of the shores of Lac de Saint-Cassien, the River Siagne and the surrounding forests and fields.
Saint-Paul-en-Forêt, nestling between Mont-Lachens, the Estérel massif and the Rouet oaks, is the starting point for a host of exciting hikes. Finally, discover Seillans, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, where you can stroll through its cobbled streets and perhaps have the chance to admire the works of the famous painter Max Ernst, who spent the last years of his life in this picturesque village.
